Saddle up!  After an absence of more than three decades, the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) will ride again at the 2008 Brown County Fair. The heart-stopping rodeo action takes place Saturday, August 16 and Sunday, August 17.  The official name of the event  is the Gandrud Auto Group PRCA Rodeo, and is sponsored by new Fair partner, Gandrud Auto Group of Green Bay.
Both men and women participate in the PRCA Rodeo circuit, which sanctions over 700 rodeos each year. The PRCA is considered the most prestigious tour in the country, featuring the best cowboys and cowgirls competing for titles, purses (prize money) and honor.  Brown County Fair audiences will be treated to both rough stock and timed events including saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, bull riding, barrel racing and team roping.
